Considering Throwing My Hat in the Ring
I haven't discussed the move to DC yet with my wife, but the country needs leadership, not politicians, so I'm thinking about jumping in. Before I do, I thought I'd air out some of the issues...so
Any questions about how I'd handle certain things?

I don't think engineering/business leaders qualify, either, Hollywood. See, they have their own learned politics & behaviors.
The rise of the philosopher/king (a la Jefferson & Franklin), where ideas (and ideals) lead to firm stances and unwavering absolutes, is where we need to be.
So, my first question would be what ideals are you espousing that are going to transform and inspire the populace.
